Lift maintenance cost optimisation

Lastingly reduce the operating costs of your portfolio without compromising safety or availability. Average observed reduction: 20%.

Lift maintenance cost optimisation

The operating costs of a lift portfolio rarely increase by decision, but by accumulation: successive indexations, out-of-contract interventions that have become routine, parts billed at list price, contracts renewed without comparison.

Our mission is to bring transparency to these flows, then act on the levers that are actually documented.

Where the extra costs hide

In any given building, two sources dominate: the price of the contract and out-of-contract interventions. The second is the hardest to see, because it is scattered across small invoices presented as unavoidable.

  • Contracts renewed for more than five years without competitive tendering
  • Repetitive interventions that treat the symptom, not the cause
  • Parts billed at list price without comparison
  • Services included in the contract billed as extras
  • Remote monitoring paid separately although it could be bundled

Our method

We start with a quantified analysis of 24 to 36 months of invoices, contract by contract. We identify abnormal items, duplicates and interventions that reveal an untreated underlying defect.

We then build a target scenario: what this portfolio should cost, service by service, using the market conditions observed in French-speaking Switzerland. This scenario becomes the negotiation tool.

What this changes in practice

The goal is not to pay less for less service, but to pay the right price for the service your installations actually need. A saving obtained by degrading maintenance always costs more later, in breakdowns and heavy works.

The gains obtained are documented item by item, so they can be presented at a general meeting or to a board of directors.

Describe your situation: number of installations, current contract, issue encountered. We come back to you with a technical answer, not a sales pitch.
