Lift repair quote analysis
Before you sign, we verify the diagnosis, the hours, the parts and the price. A quote challenged in time always costs less than a poorly framed repair.

A repair quote rarely arrives at a good moment: the installation is down, residents are stuck, the pressure is high. That is precisely the context in which a quote gets approved without examination.
We intervene before signature, within a few hours if necessary, to technically validate or challenge what is being proposed to you.
Is the quote technically justified?
A properly built quote describes a cause, not just a symptom. When the cause is not identified, the repair repeats itself, and is paid for again.
We verify that the described fault actually matches the proposed parts and operations, and we examine the less costly technical alternatives where they exist.
Hours, parts, flat rates: what we check
Labour often accounts for half the amount. Gaps between the announced time and the time actually required are frequent and rarely discussed.
- Number of hours announced and number of technicians planned
- Nature and quality of the parts: original, adaptable, reconditioned
- Unit prices of parts and the margins applied
- Possible coverage by the current maintenance contract
- Warranties offered on the part and on the labour
Negotiation and validation before the works
We challenge the unjustified items in writing, with the technical arguments attached. This approach very often produces a corrected quote, without damaging the relationship with the maintenance company.
We then validate the works as they proceed: compliance of the installed part, respect of the agreed price and of the warranty.
